Six UK and UK-shipping research peptide retailers are compared here: my-peptides, Pure Peptides UK, Direct Sarms, Aquila, Pinnacle and Nooku. All operate under "research use only, not for human or animal consumption" framing and sit outside the MHRA medicines regulatory tier. PeptideClear scores each on the CoA Trust Index (per-batch certificate of analysis publishing, third-party lab partner, QR-verifiable batch lookup, dedicated CoA URL, and stance on third-party testing). We are editorial; pricing through our links matches direct.

How we assessed this
  • · CoA per batch (yes/no)
  • · CoA gating (open / email / image / login / none)
  • · Named lab partner
  • · QR-verifiable batch lookup
  • · Companies House status
  • · Headline benchmark price

What HPLC actually tells you

  • · HPLC (high-performance liquid chromatography) measures purity by separating components and reading the proportion of the named peptide vs other compounds.
  • · "99%+ HPLC purity" means the named peptide is at least 99% of the total peptide content of the sample.
  • · It does NOT prove biological activity. A 99% pure dead peptide is still 99% pure.
  • · It does NOT prove sterility. Sterility is a separate test.
  • · It does NOT prove the labelled dose is correct. Dose is a separate analytical test.
  • · Mass spectrometry (MS) is a sister test that identifies the molecule by mass; CoAs that include both HPLC and MS are stronger than HPLC alone.

Where to buy peptides in the UK

Where you buy depends on which kind of peptide you mean. Research peptides come from the specialist research-supply retailers compared above, under research-use-only framing and outside the MHRA medicines tier. Cosmetic peptides and collagen come from ordinary retailers and pharmacies. Prescription peptide medicines such as the GLP-1 drugs come only through a UK clinic or pharmacy with a prescriber. If you are not sure which category you are looking at, start with the peptide therapy explainer. PeptideClear is editorial; we do not sell, dispense or prescribe.

Where can you buy peptides in the UK?
Research peptides are sold in the UK by specialist research-supply retailers under "research use only, not for human or animal consumption" framing. The six UK and UK-shipping retailers compared on this page are my-peptides, Pure Peptides UK, Direct Sarms, Aquila, Pinnacle and Nooku. They sit outside the MHRA medicines tier. Cosmetic peptides and collagen, by contrast, come from ordinary retailers and pharmacies, and prescription peptide medicines such as the GLP-1 drugs come only through a UK clinic or pharmacy with a prescriber. PeptideClear is editorial and does not sell, dispense or prescribe anything.
Can you legally buy peptides in the UK?
Research peptides can be bought in the UK when they are sold and purchased for research use only rather than for human consumption; that framing is what keeps them outside the medicines regime. They are not licensed for human use, and no UK retailer should make human-use claims about them. Cosmetic peptide skincare and collagen supplements are straightforwardly legal to buy. Prescription peptide medicines are legal only on a prescription from a UK-licensed prescriber.
What should you check before buying peptides in the UK?
Look for a per-batch Certificate of Analysis (CoA), ideally with both HPLC and mass spectrometry, a named third-party lab, and a UK entity you can verify at Companies House. We score each retailer on exactly those signals in the CoA Trust Index rather than on marketing claims. HPLC purity tells you the proportion of the named peptide; it does not prove sterility, biological activity or that the labelled dose is correct.
Is it cheaper to buy peptides direct or through a comparison site?
The same. Pricing through our links matches buying direct from the retailer; we are editorial and affiliate-funded, so the price you pay is not marked up. The value of the comparison is the verification data (CoA handling, lab partner, batch lookup), not a discount.
