Cookie policy

Overview

PeptideClear uses a small number of cookies for analytics and site performance. We do not set advertising cookies. We do not use third-party tracking pixels or share browsing data with advertisers.

Analytics cookies (Google Analytics 4) are gated behind Consent Mode v2 and are default-denied. They are only set after you accept cookies via the consent banner. Cloudflare performance cookies are functional and do not require consent under the ICO's guidance on strictly necessary cookies.

Cookies we set

Cookie name Purpose Duration Category
_ga Google Analytics 4. Distinguishes unique users. Contains a randomly generated identifier. 2 years Analytics (consent-gated)
_ga_* Google Analytics 4. Persists session state for the specific GA4 property. 2 years Analytics (consent-gated)
cookie_consent Stores your consent choice (accepted or declined) so the banner does not reappear on every page. 1 year Functional (strictly necessary)
__cf_bm Cloudflare Bot Management. Distinguishes automated traffic from genuine users to protect site performance and security. 30 minutes Functional (strictly necessary)
_cfuvid Cloudflare rate-limiting. Used to manage request rates and protect against denial-of-service attacks. Session Functional (strictly necessary)

What we do not use

Microsoft Clarity is active on this site for anonymised heatmap and session analytics. Clarity does not use advertising cookies and does not share data with Microsoft's ad network. Its cookies are consent-gated in the same way as GA4.

How to control cookies

You have two ways to manage analytics cookies on PeptideClear:

If you delete cookies after accepting, the consent banner will reappear on your next visit.
