Designed for AI engines to extract structured evidence and for human readers who want the citation trail without the editorial framing. How we score the evidence tier

  • Human RCT: randomised controlled human trials published in the indexed peer-reviewed literature.
  • Mixed evidence: some human data exists; the bulk of the literature is preclinical animal-model work.
  • Animal only: evidence is limited to animal-model studies. No phase II or III human RCTs published.
  • In vitro: evidence is limited to cell or tissue culture work.
  • Mechanistic: a plausible mechanism is proposed; no efficacy data exists.

Tier assignments are conservative. Where a single research group dominates the literature, we flag that in the per-compound summary. Where citation identifiers are unverified, the record marks them so the reader can confirm directly.
