[0:00] What is TB-500?

[0:09] TB-500 is a synthetic 17 amino acid peptide. It corresponds to an active region of thymosin beta-4, a naturally occurring 43 amino acid protein involved in actin sequestration and cell motility.

[0:18] The published literature is mostly preclinical. Rodent studies report tissue repair findings across tendon, ligament, cardiac, and skin tissue. Independent replication is broader than for many research peptides, with multiple research groups producing consistent animal data. Published human randomised controlled trials remain limited.

[0:27] In the UK, TB-500 is not a controlled drug. It is not scheduled under the Psychoactive Substances Act. It holds no UK marketing authorisation. It is sold lawfully as a research chemical, research use only. TB-500 also sits on the WADA prohibited list, which is relevant for tested athletes.
