[0:00] How do you choose a UK GLP-1 clinic without falling for paid placements?
[0:08] Start with the regulators. Every legitimate UK GLP-1 service has two regulatory anchors. The clinic is registered with the Care Quality Commission in England, or its devolved equivalent in Scotland, Wales, or Northern Ireland. The dispensing pharmacy is registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council.
[0:16] Both registers are public. Both registration numbers should appear in the clinic footer. If you cannot find them, that is a signal.
[0:24] Next, look at the consultation model. A real prescriber decides on a medication. A questionnaire alone does not constitute a clinical assessment. UK guidance is explicit on this point.
[0:33] Finally, read the fine print on continuation of supply, side effect support, and what happens if a medication is unavailable.
